I wouldn't dream of selling at a con without an homage to one of my absolute favorite series. Bobobo has a bad rep but I just love the wacky characters and the sheer randomness of the series. Here are some of my favorite characters: Bobobo, Don Patch, Tokoro "Jelly Jiggler" Tennosuke, and Dengaku Man. I made a sunset gradiant for the background because there was already too much blue.
EDIT: I'm not used to shading but I added some as per  's suggestion. Most of it was done using the angular tool, which explains the jagged points it sometimes comes to. It looks better, but I still need loads more practice.Bobobo is (c) Yoshio Sawai, Shonen Jump, Toei animation. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.  reports, 1d 23h agoThis newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and *Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. |
